The Used Car Salesmen

Last week we went looking for new cars. Daddy said the truck we had just wasn't safe enough for a baby like me. Well who knew that cars made in 2000 were outdated (I guess the 'latch' system didn't come in to play until '01). I digress....

In any event, I was prepared for it all. I practiced my game day faces before we left the house.






"Hi, I'm Ben Sinclair. I'm a fun loving guy- please don't take advantage of my innocence and baby brain!"











"I'm liking the numbers I see here. But how about you shave off another 2k and you got yourself a deal!"










"You bore me with your efforts. Try again."











"You disgust me. Show me something I can work with."






In the end it didn't work out the way I had planned. Oh well, I've got plenty more years ahead of me to wheel and deal!

Combovers and Rattails

I'm Gonna Play Me Some BALL!

Today I had my 4 month check up. I must admit, my stats are pretty impressive!

Weight- 14 lbs, 11 oz (40th percentile)
Height- 26 inches (80th percentile)
Head Circumference- 17 inches (80th percentile)

I'm tall and lanky with a big brain. You know what that means? I was meant to be a baller! I can just see it now.... Me, BEN SINCLAIR on the court with all the big dogs...

It's Been a Hard Day's Night

I was out partying with my buddy Owen yesterday- we zonked out before we hit the road.

It resulted in me ended up sleeping like a log last night! I didn't get up once during my slumber- Mommy had to come wake me at 7:30 this morning to give me my morning breakfast!

Afterwards I relaxed in my PJs with a nice cup of tea in my Benjamin Bunny mug (courtesy of my pal Connor) and read the morning paper.

Position "A"

As you can see from yesterdays post, I sometimes act like a fussy-Gus. Who can blame me though- I'm a BABY folks! When I turn into a writhing nut I sometimes need a little calming. In this case we have a 'go-to' position that we like to call 'Position A'. It is quite simple....




1. Place me on your knee












2. I will kindly turn my head to the right (do not ask me to turn to the left, it ain't happening!)










3. Pat my butt with your hand

Viola! I am the most jubilant baby there is :-)

Windstorms Aren't for Babies!

We never got that snow or ice like they predicted. However, we did get a pretty nasty wind storm tonight! Mommy and Daddy took me to mass at The Immaculate Conception downtown. That is me and Daddy on the stairs. Right after this picture was taken my blanket flew down the stairs, the stroller collapsed, and Mommy blew into a pole.


To be honest, I was quite terrified of the whole experience!! Wouldn't you know it, Mommy was kind enough to capture my fear on camera.

Ben the Sundial

I am such a big boy these days. Last night I slept 8 straight hours (go ME!). It would appear as though I'm a mover and a shaker at night- I cover a lot of ground in my crib! Mommy and Daddy did make an interesting discovery, however, when they would check on me in the middle of the night. Here are their findings!

The Freaks Come Out at Night

Here is a video of Daddy and me on the baby monitor. Daddy was having quite a time getting me to sleep and thought he would have a little fun with Mommy on the other end! I look a bit ghoulish, wouldn't you say??
