Fall Family Fun

Yesterday was a great day! The weather was beautiful and I enjoyed many fun activities with Mommy and Daddy. We started out the morning with a private session at JW Tumbles (no one showed up but me!)...

I practiced my walking and dangled myself [read: held on for dear life] from this bar.

I love Elmo!

After a refreshing nap we took a brief stop over to the Clyde's Fall Festival...

Then headed to the Broadland's Halloween Parade. My buds Owen and Reed joined me.

I inspected the goodies that I collected along the way... and quickly pitched whatever I wasn't interested in overboard.

I'm looking forward to trick-or-treating this Friday!

Buddy Walk!

Yesterday morning we joined our friends for the Down Syndrome Association Buddy Walk in Fairfax, VA.

We joined over 40 other individuals in supporting our friend Mackenzie and were proud to be part of her team, Mackenzie's Marchers.

The event had many fun activities... I got to pet this miniature pony, and Miss Amanda ventured to take me down this giant slide!

The three musketeers spent a great deal of time scouring my wagon for food. I think I won the hunt in the end - the prize being Mommy's pizza crust.

When the band started playing we all got jiggy - Owen, more then anyone was showing off his skills (which you can see in this brief video below).

The walk was a great success. Thanks Mackenzie for having us part of your team, and great work to your Mommy for putting together such a wonderful event!!!

Pumpkin Patch Fun

This afternoon we took a family trip to the Pumpkin Patch. This was actually my 2nd visit to Layng's Farm (See below for an action shot from my 1st visit to Layng's Farm when I was just a few weeks old!)

I got to see the piggies...

And ride the giant slide with Daddy!

We took a bumpy hay ride through the woods...

And Mommy and Daddy each painted pumpkins.... (I think Dad was still upset from Maryland's loss to UVA last weekend)

All in all it was a great time!!

Firehouse Open House!

This afternoon the Ashburn Fire Department had an open house. We took a quick stop in to check out the excitement and visit our friend Aaron who volunteers at the Department.

You may not see me in this shot below because I was preoccupied with my balloon animal (which resembles no animal I am familiar with).

Needless to say, I was still pretty happy despite the perplexing species.

While I didn't get to ride the trucks this year, I'm looking forward to the spring open house when I can take full advantage of all the event had to offer. Thanks Aaron for inviting us to visit!

Chasing Ben or Chasing Arrows?

Saturday I went to the Ashburn Village festival with Amanda and Mommy. There were tons of rides...

And great people watching. (I couldn't help but gawk)

The main event was seeing the band Chasing Arrows. Miss Amanda's brother, Graham, is the lead singer and was awesome!!

Thanks Amanda for a great time
(and sorry I pulled your earrings all night).

Birthday Celebration

Here are a few pictures from my birthday party yesterday afternoon. Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes!!!

Have I told you that I loved balloons or what?!

Don't let this face fool you- I had a WONDERFUL time today. I just didn't enjoy wearing this party hat. Who could blame me though when all that was on my mind were these CUPCAKES!

Me waiting for my cake while everyone sang Happy Birthday!

While I didn't like the cake at first, I REALLY enjoyed eating every last morsel. DeLISH!

I am so spoiled- look at all these fun presents. Ummmm, did Mommy buy me a BABY DOLL for my birthday? Daddy wasn't to thrilled about that one!

The real present from Mommy & Daddy was this Radio Flyer Wagon. Here I am taking a stroll today with my new giraffe friend (the baby can wait at home!!)
