Music to My Ears

Some may claim I have a short attention span. I chalk it up to having an imaginative brain!

And despite what anyone else thinks, I believe I make some darn good music given the instruments I've been provided!

Now that I'm sitting up I'm taking a big boy's bath! YEEEAAAAH BABY!

Memorial Day Weekend Fun

This weekend was jam packed full of adventures! Saturday morning Daddy and I walked across the street to visit Mommy in action at our church Flea Market. She was tying animal balloons like no ones business! Uncle Jon and Auntie Cori joined the fun too- I'm glad I got to see them!!

Afterwards, Miss Amanda, my #1 fan and MVB (most valuable babysitter), joined me at my first REAL pool adventure. The water was a bit nippy so we hit up the swings instead. We finished off the evening with a nice barbecue.

Sunday I took my first trip into the city. I went to visit my boy Joseph on Capital Hill. Why is it that I'm always scaring the new guys??

Uh oh. Roll reversal....

Monday afternoon I had a visit with Grandma and Grandpop. I love them soooo much. Although I will miss them dearly when they move to South Carolina, I'm looking forward to all of my adventures at their new lake house!!

I finished off my long weekend with a quick jaunt to the pool with Mommy. Life is good!

Me and My Balloon

We went to Red Robin for lunch last weekend and Mommy let me hold a balloon. I'd never seen one of them before!!

Yup, that's me and my first balloon!

It was faaaabulous.


20 minutes later....

I was holding on to that darn string for dear life.


And then the check comes......

Wouldn't you know it, I held the balloon the entire lunch.
Oh, the simple things in life.... don't you just love 'em?

The Talented Mr. Benny

One thing is for sure, I love typing [read: banging] on Mommy's keyboard all day. I think I resemble a young Harry Potter... or better yet, Bill Gates. I'm going places, oh yeah, I'm going places...

I wanted to thank everyone who came out and voted for me in the Hot 99.5 Baby Idol contest. The competition was fierce, with over 1,900 cutie babies!!! Sadly, I did not make the first cut. I may not have made the top 50 but I'm #1 one in Mommy's heart and that's all that matters! :-)

My First (bad) Haircut

Okay, so we knew this day was coming. My bangs were forever in my eye. I know, I know... bad karma to cut your hair before you're one year old. Now I didn't head over to Hair Harmony like my bud Jude would have liked. It was me, Mommy, and a pair of cheap scissors.

All in all, I think I liked the end result.

..... Or did I???
